in year two
More advanced jewellery, drawing and design skills, along with gemmology, and metalsmithing techniques are introduced in the second year.
Students are also introduced to accounting and business practices suitable for a small business.
The Jewellery and Metals
program puts a strong emphasis on design. I was encouraged to brainstorm, developing a wide range of designs that could be made into a piece of jewellery. I learned there is no limit to design and was encouraged to go that one step further to see what is around the corner."
